INTO THE VOIDSCAR
A dark fantasy action RPG about the long walk to the thing that eats the world.
A demon made of purple fire and stolen skulls is eating the world one town at a time. Three hundred leagues stand between the lanterns of Violet Hollow and the thing at the bottom of the scar. Nobody has walked them and come back.
THE LAST BANNER

A knight stands alone on a hill of skulls. Above them, the Ashen Sovereign — purple fire, a crown of the fallen, and eyes that are already reading a name. On either side of the road, the banners of everyone who tried this before. In the distance, the ruins of Voidscar, a town that is already gone.
This is not a portrait of a hero. It is a portrait of the last ten seconds before someone becomes another skull in the crown.
THE WORLD
Every wound leaves a scar. The world took a killing blow a thousand years ago, and the scar never closed. They call it the Voidscar — a pit in the far country where the ground forgot how to be ground. It breathes. It hums. And on the quiet nights, when the wind dies down and the crickets go silent all at once, you can hear it counting the dead.
The Ashen Sovereign of Voidscar was not summoned. He was grown. A thousand years of war, of sieges and slaughters and kings who thought blood was a currency — all of it fed something in the dark until violence itself remembered how to stand up and walk. He is purple fire and bone. His crown is a wreath of skulls, and every skull in it belonged to someone who swore they would be the one to end him.
He does not tire. He does not bargain. He does not stop. He feeds on violence and death, and every scream makes him taller. The villages he passes through are not burned — they are erased, and the people in them are not killed so much as collected.
"The only thing he has ever feared is a story where he loses."
So far, every story has ended the same way. That is the part you are here to change.
THE ASHEN SOVEREIGN OF VOIDSCAR
The Crown of Skulls · The Thing at the Bottom of the Pit
He wears the fallen. Look closely at his crown and you will recognise faces — saints, butchers, children who picked up swords because there was nobody left to hold them. He keeps them all. He remembers every one.
He grows stronger with every life taken near him. That includes the ones you take. Kill recklessly on the road to the pit and you will arrive to find him larger than the last hero did.

FEATURES
No Fast Travel to the Pit
There is one road to the Voidscar and you walk all of it. Every league is playable, every campfire matters, and the trek itself is the game.
The Corruption Ledger
He feeds on the violence you commit. Slaughter your way across the map and he will be a god by the time you reach him. Spare, sneak, and persuade — and he stays mortal.
THE LONG TREK
Three hundred leagues, on foot, through country that has already given up. This is the route. Learn it. The map does not lie, but the road does.
0 Leagues — Violet Hollow
The last town with a lamp still lit. The innkeeper will feed you for free tonight and pretend she isn't crying. Buy rope. Buy more rope than you think you need. When you walk out the north gate, the bell rings once — not for you, but for the ones it remembers.
40 Leagues — Ashen Quarry
A town carved into a wound in the earth. They mined something here once, and then the mine started mining back. The streets are grey with old dust, and the scarecrows at the edge of town have all been turned to face the pit. At night you can see the purple glow on the horizon, low and wrong, like a sunset that forgot to finish.
112 Leagues — Frostmere
Cold water that is never still. The town sits on stilts above a lake that froze a thousand years ago and never thawed. Something down in the ice repeats the last words of everyone who fell through, and it does the voices very well. Keep moving. Do not answer it, no matter whose voice it uses.
190 Leagues — Suncleft
A town split down the middle by a canyon that wasn't there before the war. Where the first army made its stand. Twelve thousand soldiers, forty champions, one plan. The walls are still standing. The doors are still open. Nothing inside has been moved in a thousand years, and every single banner faces inward.
260 Leagues — The Bone Stair
The ground ends and the stair begins — carved from bone, spiralling down into a darkness that has weight. This is where the heroes before you got furthest. This is where they stopped being heroes and started being decoration.
300 Leagues — Voidscar
It was a town once. People lived here. They had a market, a bell tower, children who ran through the streets at dusk. Now it is a barren wasteland full of death and the remains of past heroes — a field of broken swords and shattered shields leading to the edge of the pit. Purple fire, no floor, and a crown of skulls that turns to look at you the moment you arrive. He has been waiting a very long time for someone worth remembering.
EVERYONE WHO TRIED BEFORE YOU
These are not legends. These are warnings with names attached — names you will hear again at the bottom, spoken out of the fire.
The Paladin
Sworn to a Violet Oath
Reached the Bone Stair with eleven men and a holy blade. Killed nine of his own company when the whispers got too loud. His skull burns at the Sovereign's left hand.
The Thief
Who Never Drew a Blade Until the End
Got closer than anyone by staying quiet and staying small — until the last hundred paces through Voidscar. Killed one sentry. It was enough. The Sovereign grew a head taller and the rest is history.
The Fisherman
Who Picked Up a Spear Because There Was Nothing Left
Never wanted to be here. Buried his village, walked the whole road alone. Died eight steps from the pit, and the demon wept — genuinely, sincerely — while adding him to the crown.
The Village That Went Together
Farmers, a Blacksmith, and Two Children
They are not separate skulls. They fused into one, and that one still turns to watch the road.
